I got the banana cream pie ice cream and it was so creamy. I enjoyed having the wafers in the ice cream it was a nice surprise. We waited a bit to place our order but it was worth it. They have a huge menu of ice cream flavors to pick from. They don't have any outdoor sitting.

A Sweet Spot for Delicious Ice Cream and Unforgettable Memories We stumbled upon Handel's Homemade Ice Cream by chance while stopping at the Tesla charging station nearby, and it's become a beloved spot for our family. The kids absolutely love it! The ice cream is always soft, fresh, and bursting with flavor. Each order is made when you arrive, which makes it feel extra special. The portions here are generous--so big that you might not even finish your order in one go! It's perfect for sharing with someone or taking home for a later treat. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the place is spotlessly clean--both inside and out. Although you can't go inside the building where the workers prepare the ice cream, the setup is charming. You can see all the fridges with flavors through the windows, and orders are taken and handed out from service windows, almost like being at a theme park. There's plenty of parking available, which is super convenient, but keep in mind that the area can be a bit dark at night. Adding more lighting would make it feel safer and more inviting for evening visitors. One small downside is the lack of a designated seating area where families can safely sit and enjoy their ice cream. It would be wonderful if the area had accommodations for people to relax and savor their treats. As a bonus, there's a BevMo next door for anyone wanting to grab a quick drink to take home afterward. This place will forever hold a special place in my heart because it's where my fiancé proposed--over ice cream! He was so nervous but still bent the knee, making a sweet moment even sweeter. If you're looking for delicious ice cream with great service, Handel's is a must-visit. Not only is the ice cream incredible (and in huge portions!), but it also might just become the backdrop for one of your life's most cherished memories, as it did for me.

Some of the Best ice cream ever!!! Banana cream pie of banana cream foster, Graham Central station is a delightful treat. I keep trying flavors, will definitely come here for my ice cream fix when ever I'm in town. The line is long but the wait isn't bad. Try a flavor, if you don't like it try another one, they're pretty much all DELICIOUS lol, you'll too shall see.

Honestly, only 4 stars for 2 reasons: - portion size is WAY TOO BIG, you can't really get a small, single, or kids like you can elsewhere. Or, at least the person I ordered from didn't know if I could and, to be fair, they're new and everyone working is/was new so they likely were still figuring it out. - I was OVERWHELMED by options. Too many choices. Other than that, everything was great. I customized orders and asked for everything to go, for a car ride, and I drove it to Lancaster with hardly any melt-age. All 6 people were more than satisfied with their choices, included a banana split, hot fudge sundae, cones, etc.

Best place in the AV for ice cream!!! I'm not exaggerating. It's just quality fresh ice cream in a variety of flavors. There's nowhere to sit here so please know it's more of a "to-go" vibe and you're standing outside waiting in line (well worth it btw). My favorite so far is the cookies and cream.

Hand crafted ice cream in the AV? What in the miracle? They definitely live up to their name. Husband and I had them 3 times already and still plan to come back. So far we've tried the following flavors: Vanilla Strawberry Spouse Like a House Monkey Business Banana Cream Pie Pumpkin Cheesecake Horchata The flavors are all really good. I was sus bc I don't normally like caramels or ice cream with overly mixed things in it, but Handel's does it right. Spouse Like a House in particular is a beautifully malted vanilla with chocolate pb pretzels in it laced with a little bit of caramel and although it sounds like it would be unbearably sweet, it wasn't. If you like banana like us, the banana ice creams are AMAZING and a must. It's real banana not that nasty artificial sweet tart banana stuff. Horchata was very creamy and cinnamony. Delicious! Pumpkin was off for me as it was a bit tart and didn't taste like pumpkin, but hubby loved it and said the opposite. It reminded him of Halloween, lol. The vanilla and strawberry were ok though as they were not as creamy, but the flavor is there. They supposedly make the ice creams daily so maybe it was just slightly less creamy batch. They offer a lot of different choices and you get what you pay for. A small is already like almost 2 cups of ice cream and I can't imagine what a large would be - a pint and a half maybe?! I highly recommend getting the 4 scoop sampler though so you can try as many flavors as you want. Get a waffle cone on the side too and their brownie bits are super yummy! Service is great. The team was super nice and smiley and they were fairly quick. My only thing is I would prefer if they wore gloves when scooping and take them off if running the registers too. Ambiance - The storefront is just a window for us patrons and a line that wraps around the corner. You can see the team working and scooping. Located next to BevMo so get litty with your drinks and ice cream.
